This model of the Pasha de Cartier  was introduced in 2005 as part of the Pasha series relaunch, boasting a larger 42mm dimension & the new 8000-MC caliber (by JLC). The initial releases were engraved with 2005 on the case back, as is this watch. 

Case: Polished 18kt yellow gold case. Polished 18kt yellow gold chained & fluted-edge crown cap, set with a sapphire cabochon. Silver dial, center square with a fine sunburst guilloche texture, flat finished perimeter. Blued steel hands. Black printed hour markers & minutes/seconds track. 

Strap: Fitted on a Cartier original brown alligator leather strap with an 18kt yellow gold deployant buckle. The strap is in excellent near-new condition with the majority of its wear lifespan remaining. We would rate the strap in 95% condition.

Movement: Powered by a Cartier caliber 8000-MC, made by Jaeger LeCoultre exclusively for Cartier, beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), contains 27 jewels & has a power reserve of +/- 52 hours.

Condition: In excellent near-new condition. The watch completed a full factory service in March 2024. The watch has not be worn since the service was completed. As part of the service Cartier has polished/refinished the watch. We would now be comfortable rating this watch at 94%+ overall condition. Delivered in its original box with all papers, including a caliber certificate. Included is a copy of the factory service letter & a Cartier branded service pouch.
